CONTENTS

Contents will be tagged as such:

--Wise Phrases: Stuff I grew up hearing but probably didn't heed until I got older than the age of 15. Or even widely known phrases that I felt as though I rediscovered somehow.

--Life Lessons: These are pretty much things I've learned by observing the world. Sometimes the line between these and "Wise Phrases" gets a little blurry. After a while, the difference is merely which one ya hear first.

--MDB facts: Cool shit about me. Sure, I'm humble, but man do I know how to love myself a lot.

--People facts: Here's some things I've learned about people that I will more readily say than most other folks I know (there you go, that's the first fact). If there's anyone I know that knows people better than me...well, I guess that's someone that knows people better than me now, right?

--Tools: Usually this is where I dispense my own advice happily. I may use a "Wise Phrase", "Life Lesson" or fact of some sort to back up my thoughts, but the main point is usually to explain an idea without re-inventing the wheel all of a sudden.

--Battles: Some shit I've gone through/continue to go through. Everyone's got some.

--Anecdotes: This kinda speaks for itself, don't you think?

There are some things I can never hope to explain. The way metaphors traipse about in my head, the connections I see between sound and emotion, the reasons behind all the preferences I have...so on and so forth. I suppose that will just have to remain with me until there comes a way for us to transfer our heads to robots like in Futurama.

All I can say is that this madness can be read collectively or piece-meal. It's important to note that any personal outlook on life is cumulative--experiential lessons and doctrine are a strong part of how one would process information.

Tune in later this week for the craziness to begin!

To Preface.

This might just be the most accidentally poetic thing I've ever done or will ever do.

The things you will see in this space, in case you have not been told so already and/or have stumbled across this by mere chance, are an attempt to map out the known pathways of my very own mind. I want to make it very clear (VERY CLEAR) that none of the words I have written are so absolute that you must change your perspective on the world. That may just be the most humble statement by your's truly that anyone will read here.

Again, just to emphasize: I am not claiming to know the absolute truth with these entries. I am writing from what I know, what I feel is true about me, others and the world around me. Sure, truth--if you wish to philosophically argue--is objective. (While some schools of thought believe that it is subjective, this subject is altogether another entry.)

I don't want to force anyone to live by my philosophy. My intent with this operation is primarily personal. Like any journal, I will record my own thoughts and things that I have learned. Unlike a daily diary, however, I will not be writing about everyday ventures to the grocery or which boy I am so sickeningly in love with this week. Here, I will discuss life lessons I've learned, fascinating facts I've taken note of, and probably some self-indulgent talk of what I think makes me who I am. In hopes that anyone may benefit from thought processes I have come to trust and notes of the world I've taken, I am publishing this publicly.
This serves the purpose of giving me a place to think AND a project to work on--a struggle I almost always have trouble with. If you find something that helps you, it is free. I only ask that you utter thanks.
